Gerald Earl Gillum, known professionally as G-Eazy, is an American rapper from Oakland, California.
Career[]
Gillum released an EP with Guatemalan DJ Carnage called Step Brothers on March 27, 2017. He is currently working on his third label album. G-Eazy released his new single, a collaboration with singer Kehlani called "Good Life", which is a part of the eighth installment of the film franchise The Fast and the Furious, titled The Fate of the Furious. He is also featured in the new Dillon Francis single entitled "Say Less".
On June 14, 2017, G-Eazy announced through Instagram and Twitter that his next studio album, The Beautiful & Damned, would be released in the fall of 2017. On November 8, 2017, the official release day was announced as December 15, as well as an accompanying short film.
Relationship With Halsey[]
On August 20, 2017, Halsey & G released Him & I, which sparked rumors that the two were romantically involved. The next day, Ash confirmed this via Instagram. Halsey revealed that, "He was just really persistent. He really wanted to hang out and really wanted me to like him a lot. It took me a while to be like, ‘Fine. Okay I like you back.'"
On July 3, 2018 Ashley went to Twitter & revealed that the two had officially separated. When she hosted SNL & performed Without Me, her backdrop was graffiti of what is allegedly an apology note from G, showing all the places where he cheated on her.
Music With Halsey[]
On December 5, 2017, G-Eazy released his second single from The Beautiful & Damned titled "Him & I" with Halsey, with whom he was in a relationship. They performed the song together on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve of 2017.
Without Me, the hit single performed solely by Ashley is said to be written about him.
