"Wipe Your Tears" (stylized in all lowercase) is a song performed by Halsey. It is featured as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of her third album, Manic. It was released on January 17, 2020 through Capitol Records. It was later featured on the deluxe edition of Manic which was released on September 29, 2020.
Background[]
When asked by a fan during a Spotify Q&A on Twitter why the song didn't appear on the standard edition of Manic Halsey replied:
- "It was really hard to decide which songs were going to be exclusive to different versions of the album. But I ultimately ended up putting 'wipe your tears' and 'I'm Not Mad' as bonus tracks because even though I really wanted to keep them, they felt the least essential to the plot that I was trying to get across, because they were so much about other people. And even though there are songs on Manic about my experiences with others, I really wanted the journey to feel cohesive, as being about me, and myself, and my discovery."

On June 15, 2020 Halsey leaked the full original demo version of the song in honor of pride month and called the song her "favorite wlw song" of hers.[2] They also revealed that there is a third version of the song that they won't leak because it has a feature and they would get in trouble for leaking it.[3][4]

- Just as in Forever...(Is a Long Time), Halsey used a portion of a poem from her book I Would Leave Me If I Could. to write the lyrics for this song. Two lines can be found at the beginning of the poem "Guts."
